4-23-08 Fun night at Awana
Mark, Jeff, Taylor, and Al play at the fun night at Awana at FCC. The video is of the song "Rockstar" by Third Day. Our camera doesn't take the best music videos, but it's not too bad (or "not to shabby" as Mark and I would say).

4-5-08 - Videos
Mark gives an inside tour of Sky and Mak's playhouse. Once Sky and Mak out grow the playhouse, Stacy and Kirk can use it as a storage place (that's why there are 2 doors - 1 small one and one big one....pretty smart!).

4-5-08 Ryan, Heidi, Megan, Madison, & Mason visit
Mark's cousin Ryan and his family were in town visiting while Heidi went to Ellsworth, WI to judge (I believe) a music or jazz competition. Here's some photos of the girls and Mason:

6 Quirks About Me:
1. The first thing I have to do when I get home from somewhere is check our phone for any messages. I make a beeline to the phone!
2. We have a switch and an adjustable knob for the blower on our fireplace. I usually have the fireplace on with the blower going full force. When I turn the fireplace off, the blower will continue to blow until the temperature lowers to a certain number and then it will automatically shuts off. You can keep the blower knob turned on, but I HAVE to turn it off. I don't know why, but I can't have it "on" even though the blower isn't going.
3. Before going to bed, I have to check that the garage door is down and the deadbolt between the garage and house is locked. I have a fear of the garage door being open all night.
4. I'm not a scapbooking person, but I do have to make sure every picture I take (or Mark takes) has the following information on the back of the pictures: names, dates, location. It's an obsession!
5. I curl my eyelashes.....and I time how long I do that with my Pampered Chef chicken timer. I first curl my eyelashes for 40 seconds each and then apply the mascara. I finish getting ready and then the last thing I do is curl them again for 40 seconds each.
6. When I get on the computer, I do the following in this order: check the blogs of my friends, check my 3 yahoo e-mail accounts, and then check weather.com.

Jonay's Job Loss
April 22, 2008 was my last day as a Computer Programmer for the company I worked for for 7.5 years. The company downsized and I was let go. It was hard to say goodbye because I absolutely enjoyed the people I worked with and, for the most part, enjoyed the work I did. I was blessed to be able to work from home for nearly 4 years! Being let go didn't come as a total surprise to me as I was on the "bench" for a month and a half....trying to find another job in my company and doing training. To be honest, I am ready for something else and so I am now looking. We'll see what God has in store for me now. Stay tuned....... :-)
