Happy 45th Anniversary!

My parents celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on March 14th (way to go mom & dad!). Here's the card Mark made for them (fyi, my mom has some Cherokee in her).
Here's the front of the card:

Hot Dog!

Growing up, my sister loved hot dogs. She must have loved them so much that my dad wrote her a Hot Dog song. I had my dad sing it for the camera.....so here it is.....

Growing up.....

This is where my family spent our time together while I was growing up....the skating rink (aka The Roller Dome). My parents actually met at a skating rink....and the rest is history. Oh, the fond memories of skating!

Kid throws a mean spin ball & I get cheated!

This kid is good! I think he's bowled a couple times before. :-) He doesn't even us the finger holds.....he holds the ball in the palm of his hand and then throws down the alley. I think I got cheated on my 2nd ball.

Impersonations!

Mike doing dolphin & Snoopy sounds. Then he does an impersonation of me when Kristi & I were young. My dad was filming us (we were probably 6 & 7) and Kristi came into my bedroom and was saying I needed to go help dry dishes (because Kristi had already dried a lot of them....yeah, right). So, I left my room and Kristi started messing with some of my stuff and when I came back in, I said "hey Kris, that was mine".

We went bowling on Friday night

Mike even bowled. He may not be able to see, but for two games his score was 20/20 (no kidding).

We went skating on Saturday night. Mom (Carolyn) helps Coleton with his skates.

Nephew Gary along with his wife Jaime and kids Caron, Ty, & Coleton.

Chris (niece Crystal's husband) and son Garrett.

My mom probably won't like it that I posted this picture, but oh well. She'll have to come to Wisconsin to get me. I love to have a fried egg sandwich when I'm back home. Mom makes the best! Here, she is busy making egg sandwiches for everyone. She uses a small skillet (that's seen better days) and she's used it for years! The handle has been missing since I can't remember when. It's her trusty old fried egg sandwich skillet!

Remaining Christmas pictures from the Meyer side...

Does something seem odd in this picture? Isn't the elf supposed to be smaller than the humans?
A very cute picture of Skylar
