Mark's family does a make-your-own-birthday/anniversary-card thing. So, we made anniversary cards for each other. I scanned them in and thought I'd post them to the blog. I suppose they need a little explaining. FYI...you might have to click on the pictures in order to read them.
Mark to Jonay anniversary card: we learned a saying from Mark's friend Paul that we now say a lot....."I hear you cluckin' big chicken". So, here's the outside of the card:

Jonay's card to Mark: There is another saying around here.....one person will say "if (something) has taught you nothing else"....the other person will say "and it hasn't".....the 1st person will then say "it's that.....blah blah blah". I used that on the outside of my card.
Mark and I were in his parents van in Milwaukee (I think) and "God Bless the USA" was playing and I pretended to do a cymbal crash with my fake cymbals in hand, but I was just a little ahead of the actual cymbal in the song. Mark and I laughed and laughed about it. It was funny.....because I was so serious about it! So, I then wrote this on the inside of the card:
