Mark and Jonay were able to spend some time with Jonay's family in South Carolina (Ray/Carolyn flew from Kansas, Mike/Kristi drove from the D.C. area, and we flew from Minneapolis/St. Paul). We stayed with Jonay's Aunt Verna Mae and Uncle Jerry. Here's some pictures and videos from the trip. We played a lot of "3 to 13" cards and Mexican Train!
I do have to tell one funny story from when we were all in South Carolina in 2005 and my nephew Daniel was there too. Daniel had been out on the jet skies a lot without any sunscreen on and he was fried! My cousin Junior asked Daniel "why didn't you put sunscreen on" while Daniel was putting some Aloe Vera gel on his sunburn and Daniel quickly said "sunscreen is for sissies" and my cousin Junior came right back at Daniel with "that stuff there you're putting on is for sissies". We all got a good laugh out of that comment! Too funny!

I can't remember how this got started, but whoever is the last person with their thumbs up at the table, has to say the prayer before the meal. Somehow, Mike was always the 1st person at the table with his thumbs up....so Mark took a picture.

Jerry & Verna Mae have a place on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. The lake is way down as you can see in this picture. Their dock isn't even in the water! Mark and I were able to take a jet ski ride anyway. Pray for rain in South Carolina!

We went to the Beacon Drive-In in Spartanburg, SC.
http://www.beacondrivein.com/ On down is a video of Jerry placing our order & the guy "calling" it out.

Mark liked how this guy was dressed for traveling at the airport. It is quite funny when you think about it!

A video of Jerry & Verna Mae's dog "Trouble" trying to see what's going on. I then scan everyone at the table. At the end you see "Trouble" and "Scooter" (their other dog).
